About Jean Kim

Jean Kim started her court reporting career attending Bryan College of Court Reporting in Los Angeles, enrolling and completing the evening program with an associate's degree.  She attained her California Shorthand Reporter certification in 2010, the same year she attained her Registered Professional Reporter certification from the National Court Reporters Association, and began working under the guidance of Lois Ludwig and Karen Klein at Ludwig Klein Reporters & Video, a boutique firm in Pasadena, California, in operation for more than 35 years, until the two partners retired in 2020.

She has extensive reporting experience in depositions, arbitrations, trials, hearings of all kinds, and public meetings.  Jean firmly believes in staying current with the most up-to-date technology available to reporters.

Jean offers court reporting services primarily through Abrams, Mah & Kahn (AMK Reporting) in Santa Ana, California.
